I have expertise in rural mental health and suicide prevention.
In community mental health I worked with clients who have experienced the impacts of complex trauma and suicidal ideation.
In private practice I work with a variety of clients motivated to heal from past trauma, develop greater insight and self-awarness of patterns that no longer serve, want to learn how to regulate their emotions and nervous system and create peace and wellbeing.
I have experience teaching and training students from psychology, social work, human services, Peer Practitioners and Community Mental Health Practitioners.
I am devoted to continally learning and teaching in the spaces of trauma injury, somatic and experiential approaches to psychotherapy, equine assisted psychotherapy, breathwork and wisdom and spirtual traditions of healing and personal transformation.

Yes. Specifically in the area of mental health and psychosocial recovery.
No. There are other options for therapeutic riding. All our sessions are on the ground with a focus on connecting with the horses in relationship and learning from their wisdom.
No. No previous experience is required. You will be supported to safely interact with the horses in a way that supports mental health and wellbeing.
Sessions are approximately 60 minutes.
